www.Encounterprograms.org brings established and emerging Jewish leaders to the West Bank, for on-site Israel-Palestinian conflict education including Palestinian presenters, homestays and tours. This panel of 3 Encounter alumni will discuss their experiences and program critique. There will be time for audience Q and A, guided by Encounter’s Communications Agreement. Shaffer has attended 11 Encounter programs, and is currently Encounter's Colorado alumni liaison.
