Kosher! Organic! Fair Trade! Local! – What is “Fit” To Eat

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

For generations, the Jewish people have contemplated what is kosher, literally what is “fit” to eat. Today, food choices can feel more complicated than ever. How do we make choices that are aligned with our personal values and priorities? We’ll demystify the labels and learn enough to make educated, personal and meaningful choices even in the face of competing values and logistical and/or budgetary challenges. This session is appropriate for individuals and institutions exploring food choices.
