Religious Faith versus Political Activism

This session focuses on two interrelated principles, freedom of religion and separation of church and state. The purpose is to clarify attributes of each principle and delineate features connecting them. The presenter will address the issues as a congregant rather than from the perspective of either the clergy or politicians. Topics will include: divine and secular faith and religions; freedom of religion, freedom from religion; spiritual belonging, civic affiliation; trust and dialogue.
